Home for Christmas: Card Tutorial

Hi Stamper!
There is only 16 days until Christmas! Not finished all your cards yet? No problem! Today we are going to be sharing a simple tutorial on how to create this beautiful Christmas card that will take you no time. Not only is this card quick but it's perfect for any man or woman in your life, at Christmas time. These instructions are our FREE tutorial of the month so enjoy!

First thing you’re going to do is cut your cardstock. You’ll need the following pieces:

Mossy Meadow Cardstock:
One piece cut to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and then scored in the middle at 4 ¼”
One piece cut to cardstock to ¾” x 4 ½”

Very Vanilla Cardstock:
Two pieces cut to cardstock to 4” x 5 ¼”

Real Red Cardstock:
One piece cut to 3 ½” x 1 ¼”

Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper:
Cut one piece of paper to 3 ¾” x 5”

First glue your Designer Series Paper piece onto one of the Very Vanilla Cardstock. Using glue dots attach a piece of Very Vanilla 1-1/4” Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon to the Very Vanilla Cardstock by wrapping it around and pressing firmly on the glue dots. Attach this piece onto the card base using dimenstionals.

Then using the Triple Banner Punch, punch “banners” out of the Mossy Meadow ¾” x 4 ¼” Cardstock and the 3 ½” x 1 ¼” Real Red Cardstock. Stamp the “Merry Christmas” sentiment using Black Archival Ink onto the Real Red Banner.

Using fast fuse, attach the Mossy Meadow Banner onto the ribbon on the card and then attach the Real Red Banner using dimensionals. Add some Home for Christmas Enamel Dots for a little flair.

Lastly glue the other Very Vanilla piece of cardstock in the inside of the card so you have somewhere to write your Christmas greetings.

This is a "No Big Shot Required" Card. Whoohoo!

We hope this card will help with your last minute card making. They will never even know!
